About the Author

A Lifelong Student of Indian Philosophy

Seshadri Medisetti is an author, researcher, and lifelong student of Indian philosophy, dedicated to helping people cultivate calmness, purpose, and inner resilience. With a professional background in engineering, architecture, and town planning, he combines analytical thinking with decades of personal exploration into yoga, meditation, and the timeless wisdom of the Indian scriptures.

His spiritual journey began more than five decades ago through the regular practice of yoga, relaxation, and meditation. Seeking answers to deeper questions about life and consciousness, he later undertook the study of Sanskrit in his seventies, successfully completing graduation-level examinations — enabling him to study original texts directly, including the Upanishads, Vedanta, Kashmir Shaivism, and Tripura Rahasya, without relying solely on translations.

Drawing on both personal experience and scriptural insight, Seshadri writes in a practical, accessible style — bridging ancient wisdom with modern challenges such as stress, anxiety, emotional instability, overthinking, and the search for a meaningful life. Rather than presenting philosophy as an abstract subject, he offers methods readers can apply daily: yoga, pranayama, meditation, self-reflection, and purposeful living.

He is established in Advaita Vedanta, and through his writing hopes to inspire readers of all ages to discover lasting happiness, strengthen family and community bonds, and realise the deeper potential within every human being.

A calm mind is not an escape from life — it is the foundation for living it with wisdom, purpose, and compassion.
